Hi guys, I’m Pin. It’s my
nickname when my friends call me. I’m from Purbalingga, small town in Central Java province, Indonesia. It’s a very nice and peaceful place
with much of fresh air and warm weather all the year. Now, I’m still studying Informatic Engineering in Yogyakarta State University.
I love art so much. It began when
i was kid. My cousin took me to his room and i saw so many pictures he ever made. Inside of me, I really really want to be like him. I asked my parent
for crayons. Few days later they bought me one pack. Almost everyday I spent my time for drawing all object, but most of them were animals.
When I was in the 6th grade of elementary school, my father bought a new computer. I was so amazed and felt curious of it. But
then I knew, a computer can
do many tasks. And I used it for a common purpose many other children do,
playing game! Yes, I spent my
time for playing my game on
the computer. I almost forgot my study, my task, and anything. My parents felt worry about it, so they taught me to use computer for other purpose.
Dad showed me that there’s an
application in Windows that we can
use to do simple drawing. It’s Paint. I liked to use it so much, it’s like a replaceable paper to draw with infinity color we can use.
Then I realized I really love two
things to do together. Art
and computer. This is where my life started and found the
way. When I was in senior
high school, my friend introduced me to Photoshop. One of the most amazing
software I ever knew. He also introduce me to CorelDRAW but in
that time, I didn’t use it so much. I just used Photoshop.
Computer and art. Two things that
led me to choose my choice
when I was graduated from senior
high school. I want to be a teacher someday, to teach those things I loved. So I choose to enter the Engineering
Faculty and take IT concentration. I my college, I learn so much things (even most of it I learn by myself) about design. Share
experiences with my friends.
So, here I am. I want to spare my time to write some of my experiences
about design to all of you guys. I hope what I wrote here can be useful for you
all.
